Orlando Fun Days Out

Orlando is the sixth largest city of Florida and is also said to be its largest inland city, located in Central Florida in the northeast of Tampa. It is the home for theme parks and is fortunate enough to have good weather all year round which makes it an ideal location for a family vacation. If traveling from the UK flights can be quite expensive unless you shop around. One of the best and overlooked places is Teletext Holidays. These can be found online or by using your text button on the tv.

The economy of this city mainly focuses on aerospace and electronics industries but is said to now earn its largest revenues from the tourism industry. There are around 52 million tourists visiting the region each year and hence, it is obvious that to accommodate that many visitors each year there are a large number of attractions offered by this particular city.

Orlando and Disney seem to go hand in hand and whilst it is true that Disney has the biggest share of tourism here, it is also true that it is probably the most family friendly in every one of its locations but there are other attractions that are trying to reach this level too. Apart from being a world famous theme park with legendary rides and characters, Walt Disney World also offers some of the most wonderful restaurants and lodgings for tourists.

The location of the Disney resort could not have been better planned and apart from the many hotels and other types of lodging within the resort, the views of the area are outstanding. SeaWorld is another very popular theme park and although there are only a couple of rides there, it really doesn’t matter as a family will find plenty of entertainment from all the sea creatures there including shows from dolphins and killer whales which should not be missed. SeaWorld is definitely a place to be visited more than once and the likelihood of seeing every show in one day is quite remote.

It would not be fair to all the other attractions in Orlando not to mention a couple of them especially the very popular evening entertainment performed at the Arabian Nights show which features over 60 horses. There is a great deal to consider with an Orlando vacation, but three areas do stand out and they are the type of accommodation you intend to stay in, where you are going to eat and what things you intend to see. Orlando makes up for a perfect vacation spot as it offers some of the best lodging facilities and consists of restaurants that serve cuisines ranging from American to French, Continental, Spanish, Mexican, Cuban, German, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and many more.

Towards the centre of Orlando and within a short distance of the main theme parks, the top class hotels can be found offering a wide variety of sports facilities, great bars and restaurants as well as health spas and fitness centers. It would be unfair not to mention some other attractions and Universal also have a number of theme parks here including Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios which continue to grow in popularity but if you prefer something a little different, pop along to the Titanic Exhibition on International drive.

Orlando is a very welcoming city and likes to pride itself that everyone who visits will be safe and have a thoroughly enjoyable time and memories that will last for many years.

Have You Missed Out On Paris?

Not many people who have visited Europe have missed out Paris as it is one of the top destinations in the world. Despite the very busy nature of Paris, there are only just over two million people that live in the central parts of the city climbing to around ten million if you include the suburbs as well. Although the roads may be busy, it is an easy city to travel around thanks largely to a fantastic underground system called the Metro.

For many people, as soon as you mention fashion or art, Paris is the first city they will think of as much of it starts there. Paris has also always been well known for its contributions to the world of art with many famous artists spending much of their lives living in the city.

Although there is a great deal to see in Paris, there are three main places that must be visited on a trip and no matter how many times you return you will always pay a visit to these. They include the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, and the Eiffel Tower; all three of these landmarks attract hundreds of thousands of international tourists every year.

However, when it’s a museum you want to visit, it has to be the Louvre which happens to be one of the most popular and largest in the world. Part of the reason for this is because the Louvre is the home to the world famous Mona Lisa painting but this should not be the only reason to visit this beautiful museum.

Having a relatively mild climate means you can visit Paris at anytime of the year and not have to worry too much about extreme weather. Winters are quite mild by some European city standards, never falling much below the late 30 degrees Fahrenheit to summer temperatures that are pleasant at an average of 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Of the two airports that service Paris, it is Roissy-en-France that is the largest and is as busy as any of the top international airports anywhere in the world. As Roissy-en-France is so large it is able to have direct flights both incoming and outgoing to most of the international destinations. Flights from the UK can be purchased cheap online from places such as Easy Jet Cheap Flights or Ryan Air Cheap Flights.

Visitors to Paris are never disappointed as it has such a variety of places to visit and a long history which can easily be absorbed even on a short visit. Any trip to Europe would not be complete without a stay in Paris even if it is a long weekend because there is so much to see and do it is almost certain you will want to return.
