We all love our annual vacation but there are those that never go too far from home and then you find the adventurous types that will travel the world. Whatever your travel interest is you will find a wealth of information online at numerous travel review sites. Let’s face it, when you can book whatever vacation you like using a website, why bother going to a travel agent. The days of waiting for a travel agent to become available to book your annual vacation are over, because there isn’t any waiting online.

When last minute vacations come up, you can end up saving a lot of money and she’s gotten some wonderful vacations for almost half the cost.

I wish I could do this but my work just wouldn’t allow me to suddenly take time of as they normally need a couple of months notice. Using a travel site does have other advantages as well because while you can save money on the vacation itself, there are also savings to be made on additional excursions and trips as well if pre-booked. Although I actually spend time with my travel agent, I do actually carry out a great deal of research on prospective locations before I make up my mind. I know it may seem unkind after all the help that my travel agent has given me but I know that if I have problems that need correcting when I return, it is easy to go along and see her to have sorted out.

Take the Orlando Science Center which can offer over 200,000 square feet of exhibitions and displays in ten huge halls; its focus is to provide a basis for experimenting, and learning science and technology. Then there is the International Trolley and Train Museum where you can see toy trains from the 1920s; plus take a ride in a California Victorian-style half open/half closed trolley car.

The Titanic – Ship of Dreams Exhibition can also be found along International Drive; this is a moving, often eerie depiction of the great Ocean Liner with a tour guide depicting a character from the ship with many original items on display. Lake Eola Park on the other hand has a pleasant 43 acres to stroll around and relax or perhaps a little boating on the lake.

No trip to Orlando would be complete without a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort which comprises of four main theme parks plus water parks; or Universal Studios resort complex which is equally as popular. If you are on you first Orlando vacation, try to visit all the major attractions first because it is almost certain you will return again another year.
